The toy comes with a remote control powered by batteries, allowing you to adjust the toy’s movement speed. There are two modes: one for automatic movement and one for manual control. We found the fast mode challenging to control manually, so we preferred using the slower mode when managing it ourselves.

The package includes two attachable parts: one feather and one long worm-like piece, both of which our cats loved chasing. Since these items have captured their interest, we haven't felt the need to attach anything else, but you can always increase the variety with objects that appeal to your cats.

Usage Advantages

- Mental Stimulation: This toy is fun for enhancing your cat’s intelligence and problem-solving skills. The constantly moving and changing directions keep the cats' attention and encourage them to think.

- Physical Exercise: While it doesn’t provide a complete solution to the common issue of weight gain in indoor cats, it does add some movement to their lives. Loki roams a couple of rooms chasing the toy, which he rarely does with other toys.

- Independent Play: If your cats prefer playing with you rather than each other, this product can reduce your involvement to some extent.

Personal Experiences

When we first got the product, Lola and Loki showed great interest. They chased after it and tried to catch it. As with other toys, we limit the usage time; when they lose interest, we put the toy away and bring it out again another day. This way, the toys keep their interest for a longer period. Both Lola and Loki want to play with me individually after dinner—Lola prefers chasing games, while Loki likes to play by watching a fishing rod. Since we got this toy, we turn it on automatic mode after dinner, and it keeps both of them entertained. Loki even meows at us to indicate he wants to play if we haven’t brought the toy out yet.

The only downside, in my opinion, is the toy’s fast movements, causing it to often get stuck in corners. There are two modes in the toy’s self-movement feature. One is called smart mode, which activates by holding the power button for a few seconds. In this mode, the toy works continuously for five minutes and stops at the end of the cycle. If your cats touch it, it starts moving again. Since it’s a successful product for cats to play with independently, you eventually stop following it. After a five-minute run, if it stops somewhere and the cats lose interest, we often have trouble finding where it stopped and spend the evening searching for it. Since it's in automatic mode, it doesn't respond to remote control commands. This has been our only issue with the product. Apart from that, the material is very high quality, its movements are very fast, and sometimes it even spins on one wheel, which excites both Lola and Loki.

After a week of using this product, we are satisfied and recommend it to others.
