If you need a fun and captivating toy for your cats, the smart snake might be just what you're looking for. This product is designed in a red snake shape, with striking red lights in its eyes that illuminate while in motion. Thanks to its motion sensors, it has the ability to change direction without damaging the surrounding objects.

One of its most impressive features is its ability to move backward. This feature successfully captures your cats' attention and makes the toy even more appealing. Additionally, the battery lasts a long time, and we did not observe any decrease in charging performance.

However, there is one drawback: the toy can get stuck on carpets. The snake frequently getting caught on carpets can occasionally restrict its movements, which may reduce your cats' enjoyment. In this case, if you have carpets in your play area, it might limit the use of the toy, or you might prefer to use it on flatter surfaces.

You may observe that some cats lose interest in this toy over time. Cats that initially react with excitement may become accustomed to it and lose interest. When we first opened the toy, Lola was very excited and tried to catch it for a long time. The backward movement feature of the product, especially at this stage, keeps this excitement longer than other toys. However, after a while, she starts to lose interest.

Loki, although he didn't prefer to play and catch it from the moment it arrived, loves watching it from a distance. Moreover, he shows the same interest every time we activate the toy. So, the different interests and play preferences stemming from the cats' personalities also affect this duration. As with all other toys, you can repeatedly capture your cats' interest by occasionally putting the toy away and bringing it out again.

As for the price, we bought it at a reasonable price from abroad. However, I don't think it's worth paying the full price. If found at a discount, it can be purchased for short-term entertainment, but it's not worth a high price for a toy that will keep their interest constantly. If the price is not an issue for you, you can choose a toy that will entertain your cats a few times.
